Expansion Cards – EXPs – allow to setup the RF-X1 Node for the technical requirements of its operating location.
The EXP allows the connection of all types of sensors and/or actuators. The EXP is the connection medium from the X1 Nodes (devices) to the
processes that it will perform. As shown in the diagram, an X1 Node can support multiple EXPs; likewise, an EXP can support one or several devices (each
Expansion Card has its own restrictions).
The RF-X1 has 5 slots to connect the Expansion Cards to. These cards are selected according to the type of monitoring or control capability desired.
